The Socorro bot website has relevant information on the process of searching for missing persons and offers tools to find the authorities corresponding to the case, among other things.
Design a website that is visually appealing and highly informative.
A visual identity,user flows and lo-fi wireframes were established before I joined the project. These elements helped me create a design system and develop hi-fi prototypes that would help developers build the site.
I started by documenting the user flows in a sitemap to help decision making during the design of each screen.
I also collaborated on the design of some elements of the lo-fi wireframes.
The Socorro Bot design system aims to make complex information accessible and visually appealing. Achieved through the use of friendly elements, such as a rounded font and graphics with vibrant and cozy colors.
Rubik was chosen for its subtle rounding and readability at small scales.
The color palette is made up of welcoming complementary colors.
The Socorro Bot website focuses on the quality of information rather than quantity, its design considers the end user experience and offers a quick and easy way to discover and understand the process of searching for missing persons.
Socorro bot was launched in August 2022, and is already working helping thousands of people in Mexico. You can learn more about the project at the following link.
